The more you think, the stronger and more powerful it gets. It can become vehicle of it’s own. You can build it, improve it, and develop it so that it can focus and perform tasks like the most powerful computer.
I have realised that there are multiple parts to this:
– Focus – the ability to control attention – like a laser beam.
– Logic and reasoning – the ability to navigate challenges and issues, and reason.
– Self-understanding – the control of energy, and how it fits with your feelings, motivation and self.
– Power – this is like the gravity and energy behind
Pushing to stress and breaking point, and repairing and rebuilding it, through rest and reflection is one way to grow, just like a muscle, but this should not be the norm. I have come to the realisation that this thought machine always needs to be relaxed to perform at it’s best, but it will inevitably break down when it is pushed to its limits.
The best way to develop it is by practice. Overcoming challenges, reflection, and continual self-improvement.
Right now I am developing my ability to think by:
– Meditation – this strengthens the laser and self-awareness, and power.
– Reading – this provides you with raw material with which to logic and reason, and heightens awareness, whilst practicing using the laser beam.
– I am also using AI, and coaches to assist with the reasoning process to help save time and give more reasoning resources.
– Practice – overcoming challenges is one of the core ways. It must come into contact with reality to verify if it works, and to improve.
– Practice of analysing issues and challenges and overcoming them.
– Reflection – by writing and comparing to other resources
– Writing – aiming to write publicly everyday, just like this. It helps in many of those ways, and also to relax.
– Foster curiosity, and keep notes of what I’m learning.
– Exercise
– Deliberate Distraction Training – practice focusing in challenging situations.
– Present ideas to others, and test it
– Visualisation
– Sleep optimisation
– Gratitude – an essential part of priming the mindset.
– Also practicing making decisions with the filter of the highest emotions such as joy, excitement or love. If I were to make this decision and feel excited, what would it look like?
This improves all aspects of thought, so that it can become a more powerful machine.
