My Personal Principles

My Personal Principles

Why are principles important? Because otherwise we are a ship drifting in the ocean following the currents of others opinion and influences and our biological impulses. We need a destination, and to chart a course, and have a plan for getting there.

  1. Manage my mindset first – I can do anything
  2. I don’t know what I don’t know
  3. Always do what is right
  4. When the student is ready the teacher will appear, be ready, seek feedback, ask for advice.
  5. Learn everyday, its the foundation of everything. Learning not effort determines results.
  6. Think positive, and have positive expectations, and always assume the positive. Find the advantage in every situation.
  7. Build systems in every area
  8. Nothing is negative, things are actually positive
  9. Be yourself. I’m unique, different, and there is great power and value in authenticity.
  10. Visualize the outcome because I am an architect and can create what I choose.
  11. Remember what I have achieved, and build myself with that vision.
  12. Be friendly, say hi, and be easy to interface with.
  13. Be fast, get back to people and follow up. If I can’t I’m either lazy, not prioritising, or I’m doing too much.
  14. Diet, health, exercise, sleep and what you consume and write, is the foundation to energy.
  15. Manage your environment and inputs to achieve quality
  16. Time block – manage my time like a whistle, often that means doing what I don’t feel like and get used to it, 80% of the gains come from 20% of the time.
  17. I may need to do things differently to get to where I want to go which might feel weird. Experiment.
  18. Learn from others not from experience, it’s more efficient, but reflect and learn from experience too
  19. Understand myself.
  20. I am capable of far more than I can ever imagine.
  21. Give fully, and make the world a better place.
  22. The right path is energising. How can we make this easy?
  23. If someone else can do it, so can I.
  24. It’s important to realise my potential to have a proper impact, because I’m a force for good.
  25. Be fearless
  26. Share what I’m learning. It helps to learn better, refines my thoughts, and it might help others.
  27. Keep grounded and help others. We are all humans and there is no hierarchy, but there is differing values of attention.
  28. Do less to go further. Eliminate the unnecessary.
  29. Listen to my body. My battery also needs recharging.
  30. Plan out tomorrow the night before. The mind works subconsciously.
  31. Content is leverage
