Unlimited Growth – High Leverage Vs Point of Constraints

There are endless amount of tasks to be worked on at any one time.

But it is important to do the highest leverage tasks. The activities that product outsize results.

Leverage
– People – Hiring / managing.
– Setting direction.
– Using finance – raising investment.
– Content – that can reach multiple people at once.
– Technology – code that can do the work of multiple people.

Removing bottlenecks
– Systems, people, naturally want to carry out their purpose, and what they were designed for. Growth and expansion is the natural order of the universe.
– There is often a single point of constraint in a business or in life. Identifying and removing that constraint is the single most important thing to do.
– This can be the highest leverage activity

Understanding Resources
– We have a certain number of units of cash, units of time and energy. These can be multiplied by leveraging other sources of money, other peoples time, and focusing on tasks that give you energy rather than drain it.

Threshold Level
– You can spend your time learning 50 languages by putting in 30 minutes a day, but it’s ultimately useless and a waste of time if you need to spend 1000 hours in a language to become proficient enough to use it. That’s why it’s important to focus on certain tasks until completion before doing other tasks.

Unlimited Growth
– It is my belief that it’s possible to have unlimited growth by learning. There is no limit to growth. The only limit is our imagination and the beliefs that we have in our mind. It’s possible to grow by hiring coaches, and learning from books and resources. It’s useful to learn from talented people and people around us.
