To post or not to post?

I was conflicted about posting online.

Posting online about my journey, interesting and deep topics

What are the advantages of posting?

– It can help connect with more people – it can attract customers, team members, friends, and potential partners and opportunities.

– Publishing content online is high leverage activity.

– Can learn more and grow and refine my ideas by posting them.

– It’s high leverage – by posting a video, you can reach large numbers of people. So it has a high effort to reward asymmetry. Compare that cold emails for example. Send a DM when you have a million followers is far easier, not even taking into account the inbound of people who already know you and your goals better.

– It can scale a vision, spread a message, start a movement – for example education.

– It can be fun.

– An outlet for ideas

– It can generate huge personal growth.

– Hold Yourself to a Higher Standard

But why are so many people conflicted about it?

  • Distraction
  • People knowing too much / negative attention, saying the wrong thing.

I believe these things can be totally solved.

Distraction can be solved by clear systems, and focus.

People knowing too much / negative attention / saying the wrong thing, can be solved by what you put out. If you put out quality stuff, you will get back quality.

The intention is key

The intention behind what you put out is incredibly important. Are you looking for validation? Or are you looking for attention? Vs something that’s much higher.

  • To document, refine, and transmit the worldview you’re building — and attract those who resonate with that frequency.
  • To help others

Your identity

This really comes down to who are you? Where do you want to go?

What is your identity?

Many people, their identity is given to them, or just automatically assumed.

When you move country, to a different system and society, and language, your identity is different.

So moving locations can sometimes accelerate an identity shift.

For me, I’m 38, I’m not the young hustler anymore, but not yet the man I will become.

The young hustler of me, was working and grinding, and trying to do everything.

I’ve really learnt and understand the power of content, technology, finance, and people, visions – incentives, systems, etc.,

I’m the man I’m becoming, between identities.

I feel like people don’t share about this that much. Because we are always between identities, unless you are stagnant and not growing.

So I am posting less about what I’m learning, more about – the truth, systems I use insights, and my journey and impact.

Share more about mind, perceptions than my life.

Share what you’re learning

Frame it in the context of what you’re becoming.
Words feel like truth they already knew but couldn’t name
Your content isn’t promotion — it’s transmission
“I speak not to be seen — but to let others see themselves more clearly.”

So should you post?
