For me it was so easy to give up sugar. I had a strong reason, I didn’t want to put crap in my body, and when I no longer ate it, I no longer craved it. I saw the huge benefit it gave me by improving my sleep.
There are many things in life that are not as easy as that. Pushing through to do hard things or work on things when you are tired is one of them. But the principle is the same. It’s important to have a strong reason, and when you get into the habit then you expect that of yourself, you become better and capable of more. It’s quite pleasurable to overcome the challenges like that.
Some of the things I think that can help:
– Be clear about your reasons
– Write it down,
– Get some inspiration from inspiring people,
– Get your body moving, when you move your body finds energy and gives you endorphins.
– And set a timer and just push through it
