I’m now in Beijing, and have a huge opportunity to learn and also grow my company. Here is my current learning curriculum. I will share what I’m learning
I will attend classes, study, and find coaches for the following:
- Chinese – mainly by making Chinese content for studying abroad
- By deconstructing live shopping streams
- Wingchun
- Pingpong
- Chinese Management Principles
- Supply chain management – understanding the principles at a deep level
- Construction project management
- Artificial Intelligence in China
- English & writing
Why am I learning these things?
- Chinese is a foundational skill that is essential but I find it easier to learn whilst learning other things that I am interesting in. Learning Chinese also helps me to learn the other subjects on a much better level.
- By creating Chinese content, and deconstructing live streams, I am also learning skills and disciplines of sales, content creation, selling and live sales and ecommerce.
- Wingchun and Pingpong are useful skills, and disciplines that will also help me learn Chinese.
- Chinese management principles is something that I can learn a lot from, especially from these fast moving companies.
- Construction project management is something I am extremely interesting in. I am surrounded by construction of sky scrapers, and would love to learn how they do it and what the challenges are.
- Chinese history – I would like to find a coach or tutor to teach me some of the interesting lessons of Chinese history, which can also help improve my Chinese.
- AI in China is also interesting. How is it developing and how will it be applied?
- English & writing is also a foundation skill that I want to learn and develop
- English speaking and storytelling. I am also interested in this topic and learning this, so I will do this by making content.
