2030 School

We are building 2030 School which is a personalised online learning platform.

After working with many students and universities, I can see there is a significant gap, from students who start studying at a university, and they are kind of just lumped in. There is no tutor, no personalised assistance and support. They are kind of passed from one teacher, to the next, like they would be in a factory production line.

For Students

2030 School has lots of online courses you can choose from which range from 1 on 1 teachers or mentors, cohort based courses, or self-paced programs. You can choose those yourself and start learning.

We recognise that learning now doesn’t only happen in the classroom. It happens on multiple places, from peers, locations, online learning, books, mentors. The content and teaching is no longer the value, and is now more of a commodity.

What the value is, is the curation of it, the personalisation of it.

We also have a service to manage your education for you. This includes an evaluation, of different levels. A basic evaluation is one where we discuss with you and create a plan. A comprehensive evaluation is where we give you a full in depth evaluation of your personality, your life path so far, future goals, comprehensive personality testing, and we can also do a 360 understanding of your strengths from those around you. We then create a plan and match you up with resources to help you grow. This includes a combination of mentors, online courses, and self paced resources, peers, and locations, if you are to study abroad. We have huge resources and options all around the world. We are your coach to keep you accountable. You can also check in to manage and monitor your progress. We have learnt from many students, we understand students, we understand the learning options, so we can often help to give you a better insight about your future pathway and options that you might yourself. At least we can help to give you more options and work together for your growth.

For educators

From the course creators and teachers perspective, you can add your courses to our platform. You can create courses, or give free classes to the community, to build your brand, and to attract more students. We are also building the online login so you can host your courses, use our AI tools. You will be rated based on how satisfied students are, but more importantly, how effective your course is – the level the students were before they joined, and the level they were after they completed the course. This is objective.

Our Philosophy

Harvard, and Peking University is a top place, it attracts some of the most elite people in the world, and putting them all together, helps to make them better. It’s great to study at the elite, if you can. The elite institutions have it easy. How much of the success stories of the elite institutions is because they were elite to begin with? My point is not anti-elite. Even among the elite, there should be a measure of the types of people, and who will benefit the most from which elite institution. Also, most people are not the elite, and in order to become elite, some people have longer journeys, and a lower starting point. There are many institutions who take people who are at grade C, and turn them into grade B. Those should be recognised, too, so they can become grade A, and then they can become elite. Those grade C, would never have got into the elite institutions, but they may also have enormous potential. It is our duty, to maximise the potential of our people, and we all benefit from a better education system.

Future

At the start, this can only be done individually, with a personalised curator, as we are building it, but it can definitely be automated with AI, and then we have personalised education at low cost, for all.
