How to Focus Your Content Plan

There’s so many platforms and types of content you can do. How do you focus?

We have Youtube, Twitter, Linkedin, Blogs, Tiktok, etc., and more are coming up. The landscape is completely changing. If you are living in another country, there are also lots of others to consider too.

What are your targets?

It’s important to be clear on what your targets are.

Consistency is really important in content creation.

If you are posting once or twice on different platforms and not consistently you are not going to be building up decent momentum.

There are two things you can do:

  • Focus on content type
  • Focus on platform

The types of content you can do are:

  • Articles – which can be repurposed
  • Images with some text.
  • Shorts.
  • Videos.

Bear in mind that each platform is different and needs different things.

It’s a good idea to focus on one first, then build up on other areas when that is going well, building up a team as you do it.

It’s also a good idea to have some kind of pillars or questions that you can use to constantly generate unlimited articles.

Quality Vs Quantity? You need both really. You can start with quantity first then build onto quality later.

  1. Youtube Videos, Xiaohongshu Posts
  2. Youtube Shorts, Instagram Shorts, Tiktok Shorts, XiaohongShu
